Trauma-Informed Continuing Education + Resources
What We Offer
At Groundwork, we believe that learning to do trauma work well starts with cultivating the ground within ourselves.
Our courses and consultations blend clinical depth with embodied practice — helping you develop the clarity, steadiness, and skill to hold complex human experience with confidence and care.
Created by Melanie Reese, LMFT, a trauma therapist and educator with over 15 years of experience, Groundwork Trauma Education offers continuing education and mentorship that bridges science and soul.
Our approach is rooted in presence, ethical practice, and real-world application — the kind of learning that changes how you think, feel, and work.
Please confirm with your licensing board about CE eligibility.

Our Mindset
Trauma work asks us to be both technically skilled and deeply human.
Our teaching model invites learners to:
- Engage with the nervous system — not just the intellect
- Integrate clinical precision with embodied presence
- Explore personal regulation as a foundation for ethical practice
- Learn in community, not isolation
- No hierarchy, just connection
Groundwork is where knowledge becomes wisdom — through practice, reflection, and connection.
The Invitation
You don’t need another training that overwhelms you with information. You need one that helps you feel steady in what you already know — and ready for what comes next.
